TRADING TYPES:

FACE PAINTING, BODY ART

If you are a small outfit specialising in face and body painting, temporary tattoos or hair decorations and so on, please submit your application for the festival.

For the first event, the pitch fee for the day is £70 +VAT. 

Upon successful application, we send a notification email which will confirm the pitch fee. If you accept the offer, the pitch fee should be paid within 7 days, or you may lose the pitch.

Please note: Electricity will not be available, you must bring your own should you need it.

FOOD, CATERING VENDOR

At the festival, vendors trade inside the secured outside area, alongside other trading stalls, plus site facilities such as toilets. We will allow for space between the vendors and guarantee you a pitch size of 3m x 3m - if you require a larger area, please discuss this with us and make us aware on your application.

Vegetarian and vegan menu choices and options for people with special dietary requirements will help with your application. Accepted vendors will be asked provide us with 10 basic food meals as part of the pitch fee, for use by the festival staff. This is a requirement for all food and catering traders.

We try to choose vendors that won't compete with each other. Please also be aware that customers aren't allowed to bring food and drinks into the festival, so the vendors can be quite popular.

The pitch fee varies depending on the description of your offering. Fees are as follows, and assume providing own generator power (hire of power is available for the day should it be required):

Small Savory Food Pancakes, Cheese, Toasties etc. £200.00 / £500

Sweet Stalls - Doughnuts, Ice Cream & Waffles etc.£200.00 / £500

Coffee, Cakes and associated snacks.                     £200.00 / £500

During the application process we will ask you to upload the following list of certificates:

  • Public Liability Insurance (£5M or above)

  • Employers Liability Insurance (£5M or above)

  • Food Hygiene Rating Certificate

  • Certificate of registration with local authority

  • Hygiene Certificates

  • Gas Certificate for a mobile unit

  • PAT Certificate

 

 

 

ALCOHOL TRADING VENDORS - LIMITED POSITIONS OPEN NOW - Costs £600 ex vat per day, £1250 ex vat for 3 day event.

Electricity additional.

We are taking specialist alcohol traders now - these will be one trader for each of:

Cider

Prosecco Bar

Gin Bar

Rum Bar

Vodka Bar

We will look at traders who can do muliples of but, those who specialise in one will get preferred application. As part of the fee process, we will expect 10 drink tokens per vendor to be included for use by the festival staff/volunteers (when not working clearly) and guests etc. This is a requirement for all food and catering traders.

TRADING STALLS - From £100 per day (£250 for full weekend 3m x3m own gazebo must be provided)

Trading Stalls will go down well and cover anything from glo-sticks and crazy festival hats to kids toys or photo mugs. Stalls will be situated in the festival's secured outside area, alongside tables, chairs and the catering vendors.

RUBBISH REMOVAL

HuddsFest is a green festival. All packaging used to serve food and beverages on site must be
recyclable.
Any trader waste must be disposed of in the recycling bins provided onsite.
A £100.00 cash rubbish deposit is also payable, which will be returned to you upon leaving the
festival, provided your pitch is left in a clean and tidy condition.

TRADERS PARKING

No vehicles will be allowed to stay on the festival site, there is a dedicated parking zone for traders which will the best possible for re-entry access for pack down at the close of the festival.

DELIVERIES

Should you need stock to be delivered during the event, we will assist in making this happen but please liaise with festival staff otherwise the vehicle/runner may be refused entry - let us help you make it easy.

STAFF PASSES

All pitches come with 2 staff passes per person with a 3 one available for covering of breaks/rotating staff etc.
