HUDDSFEST IS AN OPEN TO ALL AGES FESTIVAL; HOWEVER UNDER 14'S MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

\\VIP ADMISSION

You'll get a goodie bag packed full of awesome festival stuff inc. VIP Lanyard, Official Festival Tee and lots of other goodies a private viewing area with bar, toilets and deckchairs to take the weight off your feet.. and whilst we're at it we'll have a drinks service so you don't even need to go to the bar.

\\TRAVEL OPTIONS

The event is very local to the town centre - less than a 5 minute walk up from the bus station, ten minutes from the train station and accessible by taxi, foot and helicopter (not quite but it really is easy to get to!)

\\RE-ENTRY TERMS

You can leave the venue and return at any point - you will need to display wristbands to get back in swiftly though.

 

 

\\TICKETING

Tickets are limited to approx 4,000 as well as VIP  tickets. Tickets are sold as U16 & Adult. U14's can attend with an adult but not alone. ID will be required on the gate to receive your wristband. 

\\TICKET AVAILABILITY ON SITE

There will be a small amount if tickets available on site on the day.

\\WRISTBANDS

These are now given on arrival on receipt of your proof of purchase. ID needs to be shown at the check-in desk, and a wristband will be allocated for your appropriate purchased ticket. You can then come and go as you like from the venue. 

\\ENTRY & SECURITY

We will have licensed staff on the entry points - please be expected to be searched for your own safety.

\\ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

There are several vendors on site who will provide this service.

\\WEATHER

It's August & early Sept, we hope and expect it to be hot - please come prepared. There will be a small amount of supplies to purchase on site but expect it to be hot. We've had a shocking summer so far at times but we're hoping for a late finish to the summer season for us... We've certainly ordered it!

\\THESE ITEMS ARE ALLOWED - TO BE ADDED TO:

Cameras, Mobile Phones, Small bags no larger than A4 size, Suntan lotion/Waterproof Clothing, camping chairs.

\\THESE ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED - TO BE ADDED TO:

Own alcohol, drugs, any form of weapon/flare/firework etc - in short anything that can be used as a weapon. Gazebos/Tents, Glass of any form, food unless required by diet (confirm this is okay by emailing team@red-cape.co.uk)

\\OTHER CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

  • Disabled facilities are available. Please contact us in advance of the Event at if you have any specific access requirements, otherwise it may not be possible to meet your needs.

  • Some of this site is similar to a green field site, please be aware of ground conditions.

  • Prolonged exposure to amplified sound may cause permanent hearing damage.

  • Strobe lighting and smoke effects may be used at the Event.

  • The Event is outdoors so you are strongly advised to bring appropriate footwear and clothing, including warm clothing for the night period/returning to vehicles/home.

  • There are plenty of outlets on site selling food and drink.

  • Official merchandise will be on sale on site.

  • Please do not buy from unlawful street traders.

  • Please keep the streets tidy, use litter bins provided.

  • No smoking is permitted in enclosed public areas.

  • No food or drink can be brought into the event

  • No fires or BBQs on site.

  • Strictly no illegal substances or "legal" highs.

  • Search is a condition of entry and presence at the Event.

  • Wristbands (where applicable) are in operation which must be worn at all times for the duration of the Event

\\YOUTH ENTRY:

  1. HuddsFest  is a family event. Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, parent or guardian.

  2. A sensible ratio of adults age to children under 14 will be required at point of buying tickets and at point of entry. We will allow 2 or 3 youths per adult entry. Any more is not advised and is entirely at the event management’s discretion.

  3. Last entry cut off point will be prior to the 2nd to last act’s performance.

  4. Visitors are to cooperate with and obey instructions or directions given by the event stewards.

  5. If you can’t provide valid identification when asked, you may not be able to gain entry. Refunds are not automatically issued as you have been informed to bring identification. Any refunds are at the Management’s discretion.

    • All young persons over the age of 18 and appearing to be under 25 must bring photo ID as a condition of entry. This Includes:

      • An in date photographic driver’s license or provisional license

      • A valid passport (not a photocopy). Out of date passports will NOT be accepted

      • Anybody found to be using identification that is not their own will result in both the identification and their event ticket being confiscated. This may also result in prosecution for both the owner of the identification and the individual fraudulently attempting to use it.

      • On the spot checks will be in operation across the site at all times. Please ensure you keep your identification on you at all times.

7. All ticketholders will exchange their ticket at the Box Office and be issued with a wristband which allows entry. At the point of wristband exchange, ID will be checked for anyone looking to be young, i.e 25 years old or younger.

          There are two different colours of wristbands issued:

  • One colour will be issued to those whose ID shows them to be under 18

  • The second colour for adults age 18+ who are attending. 

 

This method of ID checks and identifying responsible adults at the point of ticket exchange will ensure that no one under the age of 14 is allowed on site without an adult. 

Despite stating age restrictions within the website and via emailed newsletters etc, youth under 14 may still show up at the Box Office/Wristband exchange with no ID or ID showing they are under 14 but with no responsible adult with them. They will be turned away. Their ticket fee may potentially be refunded at the discretion of the Event Manager depending on the circumstances.

\\EVENT CANCELLATION \ BAND CANCELLATION:

If the event is cancelled, a full refund of tickets will be issued via the method they were paid for paypal/card transaction/cash within 7 working days of the event date. In the event of bands withdrawing/unable to perform/cancellation, every effort will be made to replace the band with a similar caliber of act. No refunds will be given for a particular band cancelling as you are booking for the event 'HuddsFest' not individual artists.
